I just lost my best friend of 20+ years. I would have to say that you need to remember your friend and talk about what kind of person he/she was..

SAY WHAT COMES FROM YOUR HEART : TO THE WORLD THERE JUST A PERSON , TO YOU THEY ARE THE WORLD

I had to write a eulogy in 3 days.. I basically wrote as much as my discombobulated -still in shock- mind could write. Thought of lyrics from some music cause you can almost not think of a single thing.
When you walk across the alter a surge of energy/adrenaline comes through you, you go blank and stare out to everyone and your heart just releases …the words on that paper become only a guidline to what just comes from your heart…The words you want to say will not come out the way you wanted them to but no matter what you say up there it comes out better than you think. It clears your head and makes you feel good.. So write a few things and do it from the heart.

Poetry help for those who lose friends
Mark Evnin was a helpful guy
In doing his duty he was not shy
Wanted to join the military since small
Served as a marine strong and tall
Graduated South Burlington High
Mark helped laboratory projects fly
Once when his teacher was sick
Mark was ready he acted quick
He got lab projects ready fro an exhibition
Made presentation, completed the mission
Thought of Air Force, joined the Marines
Used a cell phone from battle scenes
Trained as a scout and as a sniper
Mark was cool yes never hyper
What he wanted was lasting peace
To solve problems and wars decrease
Died in a firefight, don’t have facts
Mike and Mindy parents and grandad Max
Will miss him dearly, semper fi
Mark’s with God where angel’s fly
I write poems for anyone not just heroes
