My partner is the master of the masonic lodge and I have to give the speech on behalf of the ladies.

I have no idea how to start and wonder whether any one has given a speech recently and if so could they help.

I want the speech to be fun

Hi Theresa,

I’ve written a few of these Masonic speeches in the past 2 months and have focused on the history of the Lodge and events in the year it was formed and over the years since.

I tend to use a mix of humorous and serious events, you can use wikipedia.org to find out events for any particular year.

If you’re nervous then a light hearted poem can be easier to deliver than a traditional speech and hold people’s attention better.
